15 Engaging and Simple Games to Keep the Kids Entertained Outdoors

Restless kids fidgeting on the couch, the clock ticking slower than usual, and you’re fresh out of ideas for things to do – outdoor activity. You don’t need a fancy building set for this give your them a nice surprise preparing games & activities in your backyard. They’re easy to make and will make your little ones not want to come home from the outdoors.

#1 Bowling

An uncomplicated arcade game. You can make pins out of cans, bottles filled with water colored in different colors or chip tubes.

#2 Water Balloons

Perfect fun during hot days. Fill the balloons with water and hang them on the tree. Breaking them is a lot of fun.

#3 Artwork

If your kids love to do artwork, then make an open-air painting studio for them.

A sheet, clear plastic wrap, or bubble wrap that you can wrap around the tree trunk will work well as a canvas.

#4 Basketball Throw

Another interesting dexterity game that involves throwing a ball into a basket. The role of the container can also be played by buckets, bowls or pots.

You don’t have to buy soap bubbles at the store. You can make them out of water and dishwashing liquid. However, straws or a piece of plastic bottle will come in handy as a tool for blowing them.

Use hula-hoop wheels to make an obstacle course hanging in the air.

Cut out mystery footprints from foam sheets. Glue them to your child’s flip flops and be sure to paint them with paint. Your toddler will be able to play tracker .
