As far as we’re concerned, April showers bring lots of family time, both indoor and out. So if you’re looking for fun family activities that keep everyone engaged, we’ve 30 ways to play this month (hint: that’s one for each day of the month). Read on to make your plan.

1. Frozen breakfast cereal. Hidden bubble wrap. These zany April Fool’s Day pranks will have your kids doubled over... and possibly plotting revenge.

2. Break out a quick and easy rainy day activity for your toddler during one of April’s famous showers. Don’t forget the gear to match!

3. Set your sights on summer when you plan a vacay to one of the most underrated cities in the U.S.

4. Answer Mother Nature’s call during National Parks Week, April 16-24. Entrance fees are waived at all National Parks on the 16th, and are free for fourth graders all year long.

5. Make dinner together.

6. Three words: Pirate. Treasure. Hunt.

7. Bake treats that are as magical as the unicorns they celebrate on April 9, National Unicorn Day.
