I bought these for a backpacking trip in Utah. I needed shoes that drain as we were hiking through the Paria river which is super silty. I was rough on these shoes. I’m overweight, needed comfortable shoes, and I’m very picky. I have flat wide feet and it’s difficult to find wide shoes.
All that said, these shoes should have been destroyed during my trip. Not only did they survive but my feet came out with only one bruised toe. I was so happy with how they drained and dried I kept mentioning it during my trip. I washed these three times in my washer and they cleaned up nicely. So yeah these are great shoes, especially for wide feet.
