Hey Babes! I can't believe it! We're almost wrapping up another year! Can you believe it? I'm still over here All Shook Up about it. The older I get I swear the quicker the years fly by!
I know there are lots of different opinions about Black Friday. Lots of people feel like people over react to get a good deal on things, after celebrating a day being thankful for what they have. I personally have always loved Black Friday, but I don't go out to the stores anymore to shop, I have fond memories of doing so every year with my mom. We didn't have a lot of money growing up but I still always have the best of everything. Not that it matters, but I think it just shows how hard my mom worked to make sure that I had everything she thought that I had needed. Since her budget was so tight I remember her and her sisters and my grandmother gathering around the table every Wednesday when the newspaper ad was released with all of the Black Friday sales, they scope out all of the best ones and circle if they wanted to snag at each store individually. They mapped out a plan of where they would go what time they would be there and what they wanted to grab first from each store before it was gone.
I always thought it was such a Sentimental sort of thing, sure this was all because they wanted to snag a good deal on something, but there was a special form of bonding happening. Black Friday was family time, we would wake up super early, go grab breakfast, and then wait in line to snag some good deals on our favorite things. To this day, looking back, it's still one of my favorite memories!
Since my mom's budget was always so tight she really loved being able to get people nice things and being able to afford buying gifts for everyone on a single day. And I think that while I'm super blessed now at this point in my life to be able to buy things just because they're on sale, what makes the day super great is for families who might not be able to buy something if it had not been on sale.
I loved making those memories with my mom! And honestly this week while scoping out the best deals to share with all of you, It brought back nothing but good memories for me. The thrill of finding a deal! So when you guys send me on a mission to find Uggs or Hunter boots or a T3 flat iron or Clarisonic, I brought back lots of fun memories for me and I just wanted to thank you guys for that as I'm about to share all of these awesome deals with you guys today!
Now that I've rambled long enough I'm going to bring to you guys the good stuff so many amazing deals this year guys I cannot express this enough! Also I've noticed a trend in my numbers and people are definitely shopping sooner to finish, which means things are selling out quickly especially popular items that are deeply discounted. Black Friday has a rep for being the day people get to snag their appliances on sale, or Big Ticket items like TVs, and I think that's definitely still relevant Black Friday is the day that I like to take advantage of full store sales, and especially things that rarely if ever go on sale. My favorite sale of the year is the Anthropologie sale because I love everything at that store but I love it a little more when everything is 30% off. You know what I'm saying?
